VULT does not request or store online-banking passwords. Transactions arrive only through entry, scanning, files or a shared VULT budget.
SECURITY AND PRIVACY
VULT is local-first, does not connect to banks and keeps cloud or AI-assisted work behind clear, limited boundaries.
Budget calculations and on-device persistence stay local-first. Signed-in members can additionally sync a compact snapshot.
OpenAI, Stripe and email secrets run behind protected Edge Functions. They are never embedded in the public Flutter web bundle.
A CLEAR DATA PATH
Cloud sync is useful, but it is not allowed to become the calculator, the local database or an excuse to send everything everywhere.
Budget and recognition
Working finance data, calculations and supported receipt text recognition begin locally.
Account and sync
Supabase handles authentication, entitlement records and private revisioned snapshots.
Bounded server tasks
Only the context needed for a chosen receipt, import, score or property estimate task is sent.
Passcode and biometrics
Supported native devices can use biometrics, while web and all platforms support a VULT passcode.
Revisioned cloud copies
One operation updates a private snapshot at a time. Conflict handling protects the latest accepted revision.
Editable automated work
Receipt and statement results remain reviewable. Automation does not make a result authoritative.
Deletion controls
Use in-app controls or the public deletion route to request removal of account-linked cloud information.
HONEST LIMITS
Network connections are encrypted in transit and account data is protected by access controls, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device, email and passcode. Review the privacy policy for providers, retention and choices.
