VULT MAY FIT BETTER IF
FROLLO MAY FIT BETTER IF
Frollo starts from what has already happened across connected accounts. VULT starts from the plan you want to follow, then compares entries with it. That makes Frollo convenient for a consolidated live view and VULT useful for people who want the act of budgeting to remain deliberate.
VULT does not ask for online-banking credentials. Users enter moves, scan receipts or import supported statements. Frollo uses Australia's Consumer Data Right and Open Banking to connect accounts. Open Banking is a regulated approach, but it is still a different comfort and participation choice.
A connected bank feed usually knows the merchant and total. VULT can keep the items inside a receipt and analyse them by receipt group or product. That depth requires review. Someone who wants zero-touch capture may reasonably prefer Frollo; someone who wants to distinguish the contents of a shop may prefer VULT.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Yes, for people who want a budget, expense tracking, goals and analysis without connecting accounts. It is not a like-for-like replacement for automatic Open Banking feeds.
Frollo's official app page describes the consumer app as free and ad-free. Check its current terms before signing up.
Frollo's connected feeds are designed to reduce manual transaction entry. VULT uses quick entry, recent shortcuts, receipts and statement imports but expects the user to review the plan.
